Fort Lauderdale Indian Wedding | Second Shooting

Before I begin I APOLOGIZE for this post being so long, but you will see why it is. I had the most amazing opportunity to second shoot for Shipra Panosian from Shipra Panosian Photography. You can check out her amazing work at www.shiprapanosian.com ! When she contacted me to second shoot for her, 1. I was super excited and 2. SUPER nervous ! I had never been to an Indian wedding so I didn’t know what to expect. I knew that they had a lot of people attending and that they were very colorful, now I know thats nothing to be nervous about, but it was a bad nervous , it was definitely a GOOD nervous:)I learned about many traditions that Indians have, the culture that they carry and their amazing food ! Can you say SPICY? Good thing i like spicy !! I had a blast the first night, which was where they do this big show with over 20 different dances held all by family members. The second night was the ceremony and the reception. All I can say is Indians know how to party, and are so friendly and family oriented which made me feel very loved and welcome ! So here it is a beautiful 2 night Indian wedding filled with love, family, food, color and beautiful details. I can’t imagine the work it takes to prepare for these weddings but I do have to say they have the most GORGEOUS weddings I have ever been to.

Khamille Barbosa | South Florida Portrait Photographer

This post is very dear to me, it was a different experience then usual. This is my best friend Khamille, we have been friends for almost 5 years now. I will never forget how we and our husbands met when we were all just dating at Christian camp of 07. Khamille is this bubbly, beautiful and super kind hearted woman of god. She has an amazing voice, and I mean amazing, I know god has A LOT stored for her and her husband and I can’t wait to see it all occur. I was actually kind of nervous to take pictures of her because I had never taken photos of her before. I knew that this was serious since because she had asked me to take photos for her first album. For now she is the worship leader at my church The Mission Delray (www.themissiondelray.com) and rips it every sunday:)You can check it out on youtube !  I was also nervous because we drove one hour and a half to a little tiny place in South Florida. I had never been there before so I had no idea what to expect, but I was super happy we went. We had an amazing time laughing and enjoying our time together since its very rare for her and I to spend the day together. As I was editing the photos from this session I got a sense of joy as I listened to Glorious by Bryan & Katie Torwalt because I knew 2012 was going to be different for her. So heres a sneak peak from her session with me this past Saturday !
